About

I'm a UK-based writer and director. After graduating with a degree in Politics and American Studies from Nottingham University and UC Berkeley, I trained as a journalist and wrote about music for magazines.

During that time, I worked for a live bingo TV channel as a production assistant before moving into the third sector as a multimedia producer. I made films, shot photography, produced audio, and commissioned digital projects. The high point of which was probably when one of the digital projects I commissioned was nominated for a Webby and a Design Week Award. Didn't win though.

In 2013, I left my job to freelance. Since then I've mostly been spending my time making documentary-style films for clients, sometimes shooting photography and making audio projects. Over the years, I’ve made films and videos of all shapes and sizes for corporate clients including IKEA, Nespresso, Nike, Meta, Sony, John Lewis, Waitrose, M&S, and Bupa.

I’ve also delivered projects for public sector and non-profit organisations such as the World Food Programme, the NHS, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, The City of London, Samaritans, Plan International UK, London Fire Brigade, Nesta, Ipsos MORI, Imperial College, the British Heart Foundation, the Institute of Cancer Research, and the Wellcome Trust.
